Civil Celebrants Services
Yu Sun Yau Mak & Lawyers (“YSYM”) provides Civil Celebrants service which means we can assist bride and groom to-be to make necessary application and take steps towards their marriage, as well as provide the service to witness the couple to become lawful husband and wife.
Since 2006, the Marriage (Introduction of Civil Celebrants of Marriages and General Amendments) Ordinance, Cap. 181 has empowered the Registrar of Marriages to appoint civil celebrants of marriages and, to enable a marriage to be celebrated before a civil celebrant at any time and at a location of their choice within the jurisdiction of Hong Kong, and issue the Certificate of Marriage (other than in the Marriage Registry, or a place of worship licensed under the Ordinance). That provides flexibility to accommodate and to complete the dreams of a perfect wedding ceremony.
Immigration
